# Usage

> Retrieve monthly and daily credit usage for your workspace.

Usage is reported by UTC calendar month. Make that boundary explicit when comparing it with local-time activity reports.

The examples below are MCP tool arguments. Replace uppercase IDs with values returned by your workspace.

## `get_usage`

**Read-only**

Read credit usage for one UTC calendar month.

Use the returned available months to choose historical periods. UTC usage months can differ from local-calendar reporting boundaries.

### Arguments

| Argument | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `month` | string | No | `YYYY-MM`; defaults to the current month. |

### Example

**Returns:** Monthly and daily credit use, totals per activity (buyer, signal, email, phone), activity credit costs, and the available months.
