# Search Buyers

> Search buyer records by company, person, attribution, fit, signal counts, and dates.

Use this tool to find existing buyer records. See [Search & Pagination](https://docs.1eye.ai/mcp/search-and-pagination.md) for every supported field and operator. To inspect activity during a period, use [Search Signals](https://docs.1eye.ai/mcp/tools/search-signals.md).

The examples below are MCP tool arguments. Replace uppercase IDs with values returned by your workspace.

## `search_buyers`

**Read-only**

Search buyer records by company and person attributes, attribution, fit, signal counts, and dates.

A buyer's signal counts are lifetime record attributes. They do not restrict those signals to the buyer-creation date range in your query.

### Arguments

| Argument | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `filter` | object | No | Rule group. See the complete [buyer filter reference](https://docs.1eye.ai/mcp/search-and-pagination.md#buyer-filter-reference). |
| `limit` | number | No | Page size; defaults to 25. |
| `cursor` | string | No | Continuation cursor from this search. |
| `sort_order` | `asc` or `desc` | No | Oldest or newest first; defaults to `desc`. |

### Example

**Returns:** A paginated payload with `total`, `data`, `next_cursor`, and `applied_filter`. Buyer records include `contact_info`, `company_info`, matches, signal counts, attribution, and first/last signal references.
